I am Robin Vogels, an Engineering Lead and Solution Architect with more than 20 years in software engineering and over 10 years in technical leadership.

My career began close to the technology. From software engineering and architecture, I gradually took on more responsibility for technical direction, teams and engineering quality. That combination suits me: setting strategic direction while staying close enough to the technology to understand the choices and help teams move forward.

What energises me is bringing people, technology and ambition together. I turn complex challenges into clear choices, help engineers and technical leaders grow, and value seeing improvements make a tangible difference.

I enjoy working in complex organisations where technology matters to the business and many interests need to be brought together. I connect engineering, product and business, helping teams find clear direction, trust and ownership — with attention to quality, security, reliability and progress.
